The consultancy was commenced by Sharon Leadbitter in 2017 as a division of TACS Australia Pty Ltd (www.tacs.com.au) to better distinguish her services from the agricultural and laboratory products of the parent company.

Sharon is an experienced healthcare professional, working as a pharmacist in the Australian public and UK NHS hospital systems, including two years as Regional Pharmacist for the Pilbara, WA.

Sharon transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry via clinical research where she project managed the Australian and New Zealand components of international Phase III multicentre studies and continued to spend considerable time in the clinical environment.

She then was based in the PR China for 5 years consulting to various multi-national companies on pharmaceutical research programs.

Sharon has since worked in reimbursement, health economics, pricing, data analytics, pharmacovigilance, in-licensing, strategic planning, new product development and commercialisation.

Sharon’s experience encompasses a broad range of therapeutic areas, most recently in the rapidly evolving oncology space. Her breadth of exposure from early product development through to reimbursement has given her a unique perspective on market access. She continues to be aware and considerate of patient needs and those of other HCPs.

Sharon is currently completing a Master of Public Policy at the Australian National University with the intent to better understand the largest customer of the Australian healthcare sector, the Commonwealth Government.
