About TACS Healthcare

TACS Healthcare is an independent consultancy delivering regulatory, reimbursement, product development, market research and health policy strategy and services to biopharmaceutical clients.

The consultancy was commenced by Sharon Leadbitter in 2017 as a division of TACS Australia Pty Ltd (www.tacs.com.au) to better distinguish her services from the agricultural and laboratory products of the parent company. TACS Healthcare Pty Ltd was registered as a separate entity in November 2021.

Sharon Leadbitter

Sharon is an experienced healthcare professional, working as a pharmacist in the Australian public and UK NHS hospital systems, including two years as Regional Pharmacist for the Pilbara, WA.

Sharon transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry via clinical research where she project managed the Australian and New Zealand components of international Phase III multicentre studies.

She then was based in the PR China for 5 years consulting to various multi-national companies on pharmaceutical research programs.

Sharon has since worked across a range of therapeutic areas in reimbursement, health economics, pricing, data analytics, pharmacovigilance, in-licensing, strategic planning, new product development and commercialisation.

Recent completion of a Master of Public Policy at the Australian National University and simultaneous work at Medicines Australia and with other lobby groups has deepened her understanding of the perspective of the largest customer of the Australian healthcare sector, the Commonwealth Government.
